DetailsOur own mix of lamellar and scale armor, this armor design is both lightweight and flexible. While not strictly medieval, this armor is a great look for Vikings, Byzantines, Rus and plenty of fantasy designs like Rangers, Rohirrim and more! We initially developed this armor as practical gear for "rangers" in a mini-series we produced so we focused on the practical elements first. Thus this armor is designed in a minimalist fashion for comfort and to be as low profile as possible so as not to impede you in combat. The side drawstring attachment keeps the armor contoured to your body.
Available in 3 colors: Black, Dark Brown and Light Brown. All colors assembled with super-strong tan leather lace made of bison hide.
Scales are made of 9-11 oz. Stained and finished leather. Scales are and press die cut from 4 different dies for slight variation. Not laser cut!

Great quality piece for my Ranger renn fair gear. I overestimated my size by getting a medium rather than a small based on being 34" at true waist but the construction of the armour made it easy for me to remove some scales and adjust to fit me - 100% my fault for not asking before buying. The leather is really great quality, with a good thickness while still being nice and supple. Looks great on, and can't wait to wear it to my next fair. I got it in brown and it's a lovely rich colour. All the lacing is leather too, no cheating out on more modern-looking stuff.

great fit my only minor complain is you have to put it on like a tshirt. but it's a nice fit and it's extremely light
